Turtle

We'd like to introduce you all to one of Cole's new buddies, Turtle.

Turtle was a gift from Great-Grandpa Bob and Alyce that accompanied Grandpa Bob on his long road-trip from Sun City to Minneapolis.

Turtle fits right in with Big George and Little George and the three friends are the first things (along with blanket) and the last things (along with blanket and uh-oh) that Cole asks for each day and night.

We took some pictures in the hopes of capturing some of Turtle's hidden talents. If you look closely enough you can make out Cole's face. He loves Turtle and all that he can do.

Sidewalk Chalk

Okay, so this whole posting thing reminds me more and more of scrapbooking - I'm forever behind and can't decide whether to start from the beginning or skip ahead to the present. Today, I'm going back to earlier this summer (yes, again!) to show Cole getting to know his sidewalk chalk. Grandma Diane sent it to him and will be glad to know he's moved past organizing the case and really gotten into 'writing' with it. That's what he was doing this morning while we had roofers across the street, guys cutting down trees in our next door neighbor's yard as well as ours, and most importantly two very nice guys installing a new air conditioner unit for us. Aawwhhawwhhaawwwwhhhh (or whatever angels singing sounds like in your head)

Anyway, I didn't take pictures today so please enjoy the ones I took the first day Cole received his great case of sidewalk chalk.
